Ikea

This past week marked the grand opening of a new Ikea superstore down in Connecticut, and despite having been traumatized only last weekend by their state troopers, we braved the interstate highways again to get in on the deals. Even more memorable (at least for me) beyond all the bargain furniture, home decor, and kitchenware, was the store restaurant, serving a delicious crayfish sandwich, a mozarella and red pepper panini, and a Swedish meatballs dish all for just $1.99 each! Mmmmmmm… meatballs… =P~

  1. Talk about my new chair! And my coffee table! And my end table.. and my kitchen table… and my kitchen chairs… and my bedside lamps x 2… and my hanging pendant lamps… and my rug…. After that trip, we can pack as many clowns into a bug as anyone could want. And speed on the freeway without getting caught.

  2. Glennulson! I need to consult your japanese expertise, 'cause I''m trying to pretend I understand the language, lol… I tried to ask someone "It's been raining a lot hasn't it?" and I got this "Un, yoku futtemasu. Demo ame sukidakara kamawanai" What does that mean? hehehe

  3. Are you hitting on Japanese girls again? =P Dare desu ka? Ima, nihongo ga benkyoo shitte imasu ka? Anyway, I don\'t think futtemasu is a word, though if you meant futte imasu, then I think he/she\'s saying \"yeah, it\'s raining hard. But since I like rain, I don\'t mind it.\"
