Since all my friends are about to graduate, I thought it would be appropriate to include this hilarious comic detailing the 12 types of med students, courtesy of my girlfriend who sent me the link. The artist is actually a Pediatrics intern in New York City who authors the ScutMonkey website. What kind of med student are you?
So, as I look at this very interesting cartoon, I find myself identifying with about half of these types of medical students types. Towards the end though, I could really identify with the Sane One. Maybe the best life is the job at Gap folding clothes….Can I hand back my MD degree? For the rest of you medical students still in training – get out while you still can!!
The sane one? That\'s no fun! Although I\'ve gotta admit that I can\'t really associate myself with any but the sane one too… maybe with a splash of the \"overly academic\" (\'cause I\'m HST) and the occasional streak of the \"perpetually enraged\".
I laughed a lot while reading this even though i'm not a med student.
OK then, if you want more details, I think I would be a mix between the Painfully Enthusiastic, Perpetually Enraged, The One-Track Mind, Questionable Admission, Sensitive Soul, Crier, who is now thinking like the Sane One. Whoa, that is about half of the twelve illustrated students. I'm a freak!
