And with ashes from recent wildfires hindering our solar production, we hired <a href=\"https:\/\/jefflikescleanwindows.com\/\">professionals<\/a> to clean our windows and solar panels ahead of the holidays. The month-long Black Friday sales gave us a chance to replace our defunct dishwasher with a newer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kitchenaid.com\/major-appliances\/dishwashers\/integrated-control\/p.44-dba-dishwasher-in-printshield-finish-with-freeflex-third-rack.kdtm604kps.html\">model<\/a> that featured a nifty third rack, and upgrade our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sony.com\/electronics\/televisions\/xbr-x900h-series\">TV<\/a> for 70% more surface area, double the refresh rate, and quadruple the resolution. At work, I took advantage of my allocation accrual to upgrade to the new SQ2 model of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/p\/surface-pro-x\/8qg3bmrhnwhk\">Surface Pro X<\/a>, which sports an ARM-based processor that prioritizes speed and energy efficiency over software compatibility. I was very pleased with the lack of fan noise and ease of being always on, although I needed a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dbrand.com\/\">dbrand<\/a> skin to hide the fingerprint magnet coating. We spent November revisiting our sci-fi craves, uncovering the fate of the Federation in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbs.com\/shows\/star-trek-discovery\/\">Star Trek Discovery<\/a>, the name of baby Yoda in the <a href=\"https:\/\/disneyplusoriginals.disney.com\/show\/the-mandalorian\">Mandalorian<\/a>, and the identity of the explorer in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hbo.com\/his-dark-materials\">His Dark Materials<\/a>. We also tried out new cuisines nearby, including Hainanese chicken at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thechickenhawkers.com\/\">Chicken Hawkers<\/a>, lamb kabobs at <a href=\"https:\/\/standupkabob.com\/\">Stand Up Kabob<\/a>, crawfish boil at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cajun-feast.com\/\">Cajun Feast<\/a>, and chicken kabuli at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.houseofshah.com\/\">House of Shah<\/a>. We spent our Thanksgiving warming up with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.costco.com\/jane-and-bleecker-ladies%27-chunky-slipper-sock%2C-2-pair.product.100570867.html\">slipper socks<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.littlesheep.com\/enfranchise\/\">hot pot<\/a> while staying mostly indoors to set up our Christmas tree, holiday lights, and the new TV. With Westley still tentative about watching movies, we introduced him instead to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox.com\/masterchef-junior\/\">MasterChef Junior<\/a>, with the hope of instilling a shared interest in the culinary arts &#8230; or at least a shared love of food.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our house has been long overdue for a window cleaning.
