The project took longer than I thought, partly because it was my first time, and also because the previous owner filled a lot of those spaces with grout which I had to remove (and I was too cheap to buy an actual grout saw to do it properly). Fortunately, this new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dap.com\/product_details.aspx?BrandID=25&amp;SubcatID=5\">Kwik Seal 3.0<\/a> let us take a shower just 3 hours after caulking. After the 2-day job, I was awarded with my new toy &#8211; a Nikon <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nikonusa.com\/Find-Your-Nikon\/ProductDetail.page?pid=25420\">D40<\/a>. I ultimately chose this low-end model since this is my first dive into the world of dSLR. And after reading a number of excellent tutorials from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kenrockwell.com\/tech.htm\">Ken Rockwell<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cambridgeincolour.com\/tutorials.htm\">Cambridge In Color<\/a>, I feel truly humbled by the breadth and depth of this immersive hobby. Now that I&#8217;ve just finished reading a couple of books like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Empire-Light-History-Discovery-Science\/dp\/0309065569\/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1212464044&amp;sr=8-3\">Empire of Light<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Choke-Chuck-Palahniuk\/dp\/0385720920\/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1212464055&amp;sr=8-1\">Choke<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Prince-Caspian-Narnia-C-Lewis\/dp\/0064471055\/ref=pd_bbs_2?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1212464089&amp;sr=1-2\">Prince Caspian<\/a>, my next step will be to break out my digital <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Nikon-D40x-Digital-Field-Guide\/dp\/0470171480\">field guide<\/a>, get some filters, and take this baby out for a spin.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After months of staring at the cracks along the bathtub edges and pieces of old caulk gradually disintegrating, I decided to put an end to it all and re-caulk the bathroom.
