I did receive a phone interview from the folks at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.laserpointersafety.com\/news\/news\/nonaviation-incidents_files\/0f22ddc65da173d7d19c123d963e2ec8-283.php\">LaserPointerSafety.com<\/a>, which is probably all the fame I can handle for now. Meanwhile, filming has begun on our <a href=\"http:\/\/dukeavs.com\/\">AVS<\/a> skit this weekend, and I was impressed by our faculty&#8217;s dedication and willingness to make fools of themselves. With four type-A OCD retina fellows sharing the role of screenwriter, director, and editor, I&#8217;m confident that the final production will be of epic proportions &#8211; assuming that we don&#8217;t kill each other first. I&#8217;m gunning for my &#8220;Breaking Bad Surgeons&#8221; script to be the showstopper, although it will have to compete with a Mission Impossible heist scene, an &#8220;A-Team&#8221; parody, and a Chippendales revue. On a related note, now that I&#8217;m done with 6 seasons of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amctv.com\/shows\/breaking-bad\">Breaking Bad<\/a>, 3 seasons of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.starz.com\/originals\/spartacus\">Spartacus<\/a> and 5 seasons of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0367279\/\">Arrested Development<\/a>, I&#8217;ve decided to make my first foray into the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/programmes\/b006q2x0\">Doctor Who<\/a> universe. There is much discussion among geeks on which season for first-timers to start watching the long-running sci-fi show. The general consensus seems to be <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Russell_T_Davies\">Russell Davies&#8217;<\/a> reboot of the series in 2005 after a 16-year hiatus. And so my journey begins with the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ninth_Doctor\">Ninth Doctor<\/a>, as I embark on my adventures with <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rose_Tyler\">Rose<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/TARDIS\">TARDIS<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cyberman\">Cybermen<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dalek\">Daleks<\/a>.
